Protect America’s Borders as a Customs Officer

We are seeking highly skilled and motivated individuals to join our team of Customs Officers. As a key member of the Department of Homeland Security, you will play a vital role in safeguarding America’s borders and protecting its citizens.

As a Customs Officer, your primary responsibility will be to enforce customs laws and regulations related to importing, exporting, and international shipping. You will work closely with other law enforcement agencies to identify potential threats and prevent illegal activities such as human trafficking, narcotics smuggling, and intellectual property theft.

You must possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities. Your ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment is essential for success in this role.

• Experience:   A minimum of one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level that includes: 
  • Detaining suspected violators of federal, state, or local laws & arresting violators using proper law enforcement methods.
