Our goal is to work with someone who understands DTC editing styles and can turn provided clips, UGC, or stock footage into ads that stop the scroll and drive conversions. This is a great fit if you've edited ecom ads before and want to grow alongside a brand from the early stage.
Responsibilities:
- Source and edit content to match product-specific scripts — using stock footage, UGC, AI-generated visuals, or repurposed content from TikTok/Instagram/Facebook competitors.
- Build visually compelling narratives without needing a storyboard, relying on the script and your understanding of D2C marketing.
- Add hooks, captions, text overlays, sound design, and AI voiceovers/avatars to elevate performance.
- Match clips to messaging (e.g., if the script references a glow-up, you must source footage that shows transformation over time, such as a girl progressing through calendar months).
- Deliver within 48 hours per edit (revisions included).
Requirements:
- Strong experience editing for e-commerce brands.
- Proven ability to build video ads with engaging pacing, emotional storytelling, and high retention.
- Skilled in using AI tools for voiceovers, avatars, or B-roll visuals.
- Fast communication, high attention to detail, and reliable delivery.
