Partner with internal technology teams to deliver infrastructure solutions that support operational and strategic initiatives.
Research, evaluate, and benchmark infrastructure technologies and best practices, recommending solutions that support Earls' growth.
Contribute to infrastructure documentation, standards, and processes to promote consistency and knowledge sharing across the team.
Act as a mentor and technical resource for more junior team members, supporting skill development, knowledge sharing, and best practices across the Technology team.
Support vendor relationships and third-party service providers as required.
Qualifications
4-6 years of experience in a System Administrator or Infrastructure-focused IT role.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Windows Server administration, cloud platforms (Azure, GCP, etc.), and virtualization technologies (VMware ESXi, Hyper-V).
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Hands-on experience supporting and maintaining on-premises and cloud infrastructure environments, including servers, storage, networking, and cloud services.
Solid understanding of system availability, monitoring, performance, and security best practices.
Proven ability to troubleshoot issues, prioritize tasks, and work effectively under time constraints.
Experience working cross-functionally with internal teams and external vendors.
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, operationally focused environment.
Experience mentoring or supporting junior team members, with a collaborative mindset and a passion for developing others.
Passion for continuous improvement and staying current with emerging infrastructure technologies.

A sense of humour.
A serious passion for food - we like to eat around here (sometimes wine is involved).
