We are seeking highly skilled and dedicated professionals to join our team as Customs and Border Protection Officers. As a CBPO, you will play a vital role in safeguarding America's borders, enforcing laws and regulations, and facilitating legitimate trade and travel.
Job Description:
The primary responsibility of a CBPO is to protect the American people by preventing the entry of prohibited goods, individuals, and contraband into the United States. This involves conducting inspections at ports of entry, analyzing intelligence data, and using behavior analysis techniques to identify potential threats.
CBPOs must also have excellent communication skills to interact with various stakeholders including travelers from diverse backgrounds. Additionally, they must be able to make rapid decisions in high-pressure situations while ensuring adherence to protocols.
