Job Description
The U.S. Border Patrol is a dynamic and exciting career opportunity for individuals who are passionate about serving their country and making a difference in the lives of others. As a Border Patrol Agent, you will play a critical role in enforcing federal laws and protecting the nation's borders.
As part of our team, you will be responsible for detecting and questioning people suspected of violating immigration laws, inspecting documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations, preventing and apprehending undocumented noncitizens and smugglers of noncitizens at or near the borders by maintaining surveillance from covert positions to include using infrared scopes during night operations, interpreting and following tracks marks other physical evidence illegal entry persons contraband performing farm checks building checks traffic checks city patrols transportation checks patrolling international boundary coastal waterways variety government assets vehicles horses vessels watercraft off-road vehicles ATVs snowmobiles motorcycles accomplishment USBP Mission
