Key Responsibilities:
The selected candidate will be responsible for enforcing customs laws, facilitating legitimate trade, and promoting cross-border cooperation. This involves:
- Inspecting goods and merchandise to ensure compliance with regulations;
- Evaluating risks associated with cargo shipments;
- Collaborating with various stakeholders to resolve issues related to border security;
Necessary Skills and Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, candidates must possess a combination of technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and strong analytical abilities. We seek individuals who can effectively collaborate across departments, think critically under pressure,
- • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., law enforcement, international relations); • a valid driver's license; • a background in customs regulation or border management is highly desirable.
The ability to work independently as well as part of an interagency team will also be key factors in your success within this position.
