The legacy system is being replaced entirely with a modern, strictly typed frontend architecture built for scalability, AI integration, and long-term maintainability.
We are hiring a senior frontend engineer to help shape and evolve the core UI systems of this platform.
This is a 100% frontend product role — focused on architecture, complex state management, and interaction-heavy features inside a long-lived SaaS application.
This is a full-time engagement (40 hours per week) and requires working within the Danish timezone (CET), roughly 08:00–17:00. We have daily standups and expect clear written and spoken English communication.
What you'll work on
• Designing and implementing advanced, state-heavy SaaS features
• Building complex UI flows with permissions, structured data models, and long-lived state
• Architecting clear client/server state boundaries
• Implementing robust server-state patterns using TanStack Query
• Building and evolving a DOM-based visual editor using Scena (Daybrush ecosystem)
• Developing other core SaaS features such as dashboards, configuration systems, workflow tools, and structured data management interfaces
• Improving performance and maintainability in a large React application
This is not a narrow "editor-only" role. You will help build the broader SaaS platform.

You will collaborate closely with backend engineers, but your responsibility is purely frontend architecture and implementation.
What we expect from you
• Strong production experience with React + TypeScript in SaaS products
• Proven experience using TanStack Query in production
• Experience building complex, interaction-heavy UIs
• Strong understanding of state architecture and separation of concerns
• Experience working in structured, scalable frontend codebases
• Ability to communicate clearly in English (daily standups and async collaboration)
• Availability for 40 hours per week within Danish working hours (CET)
• Ownership mindset and ability to work independently in a senior team
Bonus
• Experience with Scena, Moveable, Selecto, or similar editing libraries
• Experience building Figma-like or Canva-like functionality
• Performance optimization experience in large React apps
• Experience working in strict TypeScript environments
How we work
We are a small, senior engineering team building a new-generation platform inside an established revenue-generating business.
Standards are high. Architecture matters. We prefer well-reasoned solutions over quick fixes.
We work async-first but with daily standups and close collaboration. You will work directly with senior engineers and have real influence on technical direction.
