What you'll do each month
Hike SEO tasks: Check Hike for recommended actions and implement them (on-page SEO, metadata, page improvements, etc.)
Publish blog posts: Posts are pre-written by our team — you'll copy/paste, format nicely, ensure keyword placement is sensible, add images, alt text, internal links, headings, etc.
Competitor insights: Review competitor / gap recommendations in Hike and apply sensible changes to our content/site.
Update site content: Add or refresh new content we create each month (pages, sections, FAQs, feature updates).
Traction basics: Light maintenance like Google Business Profile updates, ensuring key pages are indexed, and other quick wins.
What "good" looks like
Consistent monthly progress (not perfection in week 1)
You're proactive: "Here's what Hike suggests + here's what I did + here's what I recommend next"
You're careful with details (titles, meta descriptions, H1/H2 structure, image alt tags, internal linking)
You can work independently with a simple monthly checklist
Skills / experience we want
Comfortable using Hike SEO (or willing to learn quickly)
Solid fundamentals in on-page SEO
Comfortable editing/publishing in Ghost (and ideally Carrd; Webflow is a bonus)
Basic understanding of writing for humans + search engines (and ideally "LLM discovery" / structured content)
Budget / time
$50 per month to start (small retainer).
Expectation: ~2–3 hours/month initially.
If you're strong and we see progress, we'll increase scope and budget over time.

Confirm whether you've used Hike SEO (or similar tools like Yoast/RankMath/Surfer etc.)
In 5–8 bullets: what you would do in the first month for a Carrd site + Ghost blog
Share 1–2 examples of SEO/content publishing work you've done (links or screenshots)
We'll prioritize applicants who show initiative and a practical plan — not generic SEO buzzwords.
Contract duration of 1 to 3 months.
