The Workday Data Conversion Financials Senior Consultant will be responsible for deployment and/or post-production data conversion delivery; managing projects, cases and modifications across a breadth of clients and domains. Active listening, good communication, responsiveness, ability to manage multiple tasks and consulting on data conversion solutions are key attributes for this role.

Candidate may work in several U.S. zone hours.

The Role

  • Manage the successful and on-schedule completion of Workday conversion/ reporting activities and deliverables throughout the project life cycle
  • Focus on strategy, scope, risk, escalations, staffing and budget
  • Ensure adherence to Cloud Deployment Solutions (CDS) conversion and reporting methodology and best practices
  • Train and mentor less experienced team members
  • Engage on multiple concurrent projects
  • Facilitate or participate in client discussions on data requirements, conversion methodology and data validation
  • Adhere to Strada Cloud Deployment Solutions (CDS) conversion and reporting methodology and best practices
  • Monitor team resources through execution of conversion and reporting deliverables
  • Analyze risk and seek preventative measures
  • Perform research on conversion and reporting issues, identify root cause, and implement corrective measures
  • Contribute to the enhancement and maintenance of internal conversion and reporting tools; recognize business process inefficiencies and recommends improvements
  • Demonstrate ability to prioritize conflicting demands with little supervision
  • Demonstrate ability to learn technology quickly through instruction and self-training
  • Answer all inquiries on a timely basis
  • Understand priorities and request help and support when needed
  • Follow through on tasks and commitments; demonstrate strong work ethic and set an example for others
  • Exchange information with appropriate people to complete work and keep information confidential as needed
  • Communicate effectively with team members and clients
  • Keep Project Manager informed on project escalations
  • Complete all required Knowledge Bytes to maintain Workday certification
  • Participate in internal training and other events that help share knowledge across the practice

The Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Math, Computer Science, or relevant field of study
  • 5 to 7 plus years of experience in HRIS field
  • Knowledge and experience with translating business requirements into system requirements
  • Knowledge and experience with databases, entity relationships, SQL and Programming
  • Previous consulting experience either as an internal consultant or with a consulting/software company
  • Experience in data conversions for Workday, SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, or similar applications preferred
  • Demonstrated project management experience
  • Ability to travel up to 35%
  • Workday Financials and Data Conversion Certification required

Salary Pay Range

Minimum - Maximum:

$100, $186,030.00
