Role: The Inside Sales/BDE (B2B – SaaS) reports to the Business Development Team Lead and will be part of a team of Business Development Executive and Representative. This role involves designing tailored messages for target accounts, building relationships with key stakeholders in the insurance and wealth industries, and growing our sales pipeline. You will also focus on managing and qualifying all the top funnel inbound leads, as well as proactively researching, identifying and developing new target accounts to go after.
Your Day with Equisoft:
Generate leads through a variety of methods such as cold calling, emailing, social media, networking, attending industry events, account based management (ABM), etc
Conduct thorough research to identify target accounts, potential leads and key decision-makers and understand their needs, interests, and pain points.
Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop and execute effective strategies for lead generation
Establish and maintain relationships with potential customers and educate them on the value of our solutions
Follow up on inbound leads and inquiries promptly
Qualify leads based on predefined criteria and pass them to the sales team
Collaborate with sales team to schedule meetings and demos for the sales team
Monitor market trends, industry news, and customer feedback to develop new sales opportunities
Prepare and present sales proposals, presentations, and quotes
Track customer accounts and update customer information in the customer relationship management system (CRM)
Provide regular reports on lead generation activities and outcomes
Stay updated on industry trends and product knowledge
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field
5+ years of B2B technology experience in a relationship-building or sales role, preferably in the insurance industry, with a focus on prospecting and hunting for new clientsKnowledge of industry best practices and trends in sales and business development.
Experience in dealing with and interacting with C-Suite/Executive level potential client
Experience in US and Canada markets
Experience carrying and exceeding KPI's and targets
Understanding of sales performance metrics
Result-oriented and challenge driven
Highly self-motivated, with excellent communication, presentation and organizational skills
Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
Willingness to travel occasionally for conferences and events within US and Canada
Excellent knowledge of French and English (spoken and written)
Account Based Management (ABM) knowledge
Soft skills
Strong sales and negotiation skills with the ability to close deals.
Highly motivated and target-driven with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
