À propos
I'm looking for an experienced Framer professional who's happy to work in a supportive, consultative capacity — someone I can turn to for guidance, troubleshooting, and best-practice advice as I build the site myself.
What this role involves:
Helping me set up the Framer project correctly from the start (CMS structure, component architecture, naming conventions)
Being available for periodic check-in calls or async sessions to answer questions as they arise
Reviewing my work and flagging anything that could cause issues down the track
Walking me through concepts when I get stuck — explaining why, not just telling me what to do
Troubleshooting specific issues via screen share when needed
What this role does NOT involve:
Building the site for me. I'll be doing the actual hands-on work — I want to come away from this project genuinely knowing how to use Framer well.
About the project
The site has around 12–15 pages across two main service areas, with a CMS-driven news/events section and a staff/team directory. The design is warm and accessible, built for an older audience. Wireframes are done. Design direction is clear. I just need a knowledgeable guide in my corner as I bring it to life.
Who I'm looking for
Strong, demonstrable Framer expertise (please share examples of sites you've built)
Patient and clear communicator who enjoys helping others learn
Comfortable with async communication (Loom videos, written explanations) as well as occasional live sessions
Responsive and reliable — I'm not expecting you to be on-call, but I do need someone who can turn around answers within a reasonable timeframe
Experience with Framer CMS, component variants, and responsive layout best practices is a must
How we'd work together
I'd anticipate a mix of scheduled check-ins (probably weekly or fortnightly, depending on where I'm at in the build) and async support in between. This is a flexible, ongoing engagement rather than a fixed-scope project — I'll need more help at the start and less as I find my feet.
To apply, please share:
A couple of Framer projects you've built (links or case studies)
A brief note on your approach to teaching or mentoring — how do you typically support someone who's new to a platform?
Your general availability and preferred working style (async, live sessions, or a mix)
Looking forward to finding the right person to build this with. Thanks for reading
