PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITION: The IT Manager reports to the Executive Vice President of Finance and Administration. Primary responsibilities include leading and integrating all facets of IT from infrastructure design and security to application development, information management, architecture, and process engineering. The IT manager partners with customers, stakeholders, suppliers, and internal teams to develop and execute strategic project and process plans, acquire and manage resources, and approve technical approaches that reduce risk and modernize the company’s technology portfolio. Additionally, this position manages the cybersecurity of the company, including supporting the FSO, from an IT perspective, and ensuring the company meets and maintains the requisite CMMC compliance level. Performance of responsibilities is expected to be completed on an accurate and timely basis, and with minimal supervision.
MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Creates a technology roadmap that outlines the strategic direction for IT initiatives (short and long term), technology investments, and project timelines that align with the strategic vision of the company
Manage the design, implementation, and modification of IT projects, coordinating resources, overseeing schedules, and managing changes, risks, and costs
Leads the IT team, coaching and mentoring team to further their skills, develop their talent, and ensure they are leading fulfilled and motivated careers
Manages the IT budget and allocates resources for various projects and operational needs to support current operations, ongoing maintenance, and strategic initiatives
Drive the integration and maintenance of enterprise IT systems and cyber systems, ensuring adherence to best practices in secure development, automation, and networking; sets and monitors service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure timely response and issue resolution, while maintaining high service availability
Implements and manages security measures to protect the company’s IT systems and data, to include performing regular risk assessments and audits and implementing disaster recovery plans, with both local and cloud systems
Through close collaboration with the FSO, ensures IT network is compliant with CMMC; additionally collaborates with FSO and supports security reviews and self-inspections, reports any findings to the FSO, and follows the incident reporting process in accordance with the corporate System Security Plan
Supports the FSO with strategic initiatives to enhance the cybersecurity posture for corporate systems that fall under the industrial security program responsibility, ensuring a balance between operational effectiveness and security requirements
Supports FSO in all areas of industrial security cybersecurity and serves as the subject-matter expert in cybersecurity policy, planning, and risk mitigation
Develops and periodically reports out internally regarding the IT network to include current state of all systems (to include cybersecurity), risks, recommended enhancements, and progress towards long-term state of department
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, and direct report
Stays up to date with new technology and makes recommendations, as appropriate
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred
At least 10 years of progressive responsibility within IT positions to include architecture design and deployment, cybersecurity, systems lifecycle management, and infrastructure planning and operations
At least 5 years of leadership experience
Proven track record in reviewing policy documents, advising leadership, and implementing engineering solutions in accordance with National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and CMMC
Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders
Expertise in decision-making and coordinating complex initiatives
Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams, clients, and subcontractors
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines in a dynamic work environment
Adherence to ethical standards and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity in financial transactions and reporting
CISSP required
Experience overseeing and maintaining IT system compliant with CMMC required
An active or ability to obtain and maintain an in-scope DoD Secret clearance required
