Join Our Team as a Senior Principal Cloud Solutions Engineer! Are you passionate about cloud technology and eager to create impactful edge cloud solutions? We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Principal Cloud Solutions Engineer to become a key member of our innovative team at Oracle. In this role, you will ensure that our edge cloud offerings effectively meet important customer needs related to security, resilience, scalability, and compliance. Your Responsibilities: Innovative Solution Development:
Lead the creation of cutting-edge edge cloud solutions that seamlessly integrate Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Compute Cloud Customer, and Roving Edge devices. Tailor these solutions to meet the unique requirements of various industries by leveraging Oracle technologies and third-party applications. Contribute to solution papers, technical documents, blogs, reference architectures, and case studies that showcase our capabilities.
Collaborative Teamwork:
Work closely with diverse internal teams—including development, support, QA, and product management—to test and refine our edge cloud solutions. Partner with third-party vendors to ensure their applications are certified and seamlessly integrated with Oracle Edge Cloud platforms.
Customer-Centric Engagement:
Act as a senior technical advisor to strategic customers, capturing their requirements and designing customized architectures that translate their business needs into effective edge cloud solutions. Organize workshops, proofs of concept, and roadmap planning sessions that facilitate customer onboarding and ensure long-term success.
Cross-Platform Expertise:
Utilize your experience across various cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) to design robust hybrid and multicloud solutions that effectively blend Oracle's edge and public cloud offerings.
What We’re Looking For: Citizenship:
U.S. Citizenship is required.
Eligibility:
Ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI clearance.
Experience:
Over 10 years of experience in architecting scalable solutions across cloud environments, virtualization, containerization, and IaaS, with a proven track record of delivering edge cloud solutions using OCI, Compute Cloud@Customer, and Roving Edge devices.
Security & Compliance Knowledge:
Extensive experience working in regulated environments.
Industry Insight:
Proven ability to deliver edge cloud solutions across various sectors, including government, defense, telecommunications, healthcare, and finance, with a solid understanding of compliance and security requirements.
ML / AI Acumen:
Familiarity with machine learning, generative AI, and MLOps related to edge environments.
Business Alignment Skills:
Strong ability to align technical architecture with customer business objectives and strategies; prior experience in presales and engaging with executives is a plus.
Education:
Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields are preferred.
Compensation:
Compensation ranges from $115,400 to $251,600 annually, along with potential for bonuses and equity, depending on experience and qualifications. Why Join Oracle?
