Protect and Serve: Border Patrol Agent Opportunity


The United States Border Patrol is seeking highly skilled individuals to fill the role of Border Patrol Agent. As a member of this elite team, you will be responsible for safeguarding our nation's borders and enforcing immigration laws.

**Key Responsibilities:** • Detect and apprehend individuals suspected of violating immigration laws
• Conduct surveillance operations using advanced technology,
• Inspect documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations,
• Perform farm checks, building checks, traffic checks, city patrols, and transportation checks.
**Required Qualifications:**You qualify for the GL-9 grade level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience performing duties such as:
    • Performing physical searches of detained individuals;
    • Apprehending violators of state,federal or immigration laws;
You qualify for the GS-11 grade level if you possess one (1) yearof specialized experiencerequiring the authority granted bythe state or governmentto enforce laws,makes arrests,and investigate crimes,**Prior law enforcementor militaryexperiencequalifies candidatesfor GS-level positions .
