Job Description

The Border Patrol Agent position offers an opportunity to work with a team of highly trained professionals in law enforcement, protecting America's borders and deterring illicit activity. As a BPA, you will be part of the Federal Law Enforcement Officer profession.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• You qualify for the GL-5 grade level if you possess one year of general work experience or a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.


• You qualify for the GL-7 grade level if you possess one year of specialized work experience or a bachelor's degree with superior academic achievement.


• Note: If you have previous or current law enforcement or military law enforcement experience, you may qualify at higher grade levels.

• A U.S. Citizen must apply for this position;
• a resident who has had primary U.S. residency (includes protectorates as declared under international law) for at least three years;
