• Detecting and questioning people suspected of violating immigration laws


• Inspecting documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations


• Pursuing undocumented noncitizens and smugglers at or near the borders using surveillance methods such as infrared scopes during night operations


• Linguistic skills: ability to speak read Spanish English
