• Duty Assignments: Duty assignments available at the time of offer may include prioritized locations, such as Sierra Blanca, TX; Presidio, TX; Sanderson, TX; Comstock, TX; Lordsburg, NM; Freer, TX; Hebbronville, TX; Ajo, AZ.


• Work Environment: Border Patrol Agents work in a dynamic and challenging environment that requires them to be physically fit and able to handle stressful situations.


• Travel Requirements: Travel is required for training at the Border Patrol Academy in Artesia, New Mexico. After completion of training agents will be assigned to a sector where they will serve on a rotating shift schedule with varying amounts of travel depending upon their duty assignment location.
