As a Customs and Border Protection Officer, you will play a vital role in safeguarding the nation's borders and facilitating legitimate trade and travel. Your duties may include enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture laws; conducting inspections of individuals and conveyances; determining admissibility for entry into the United States; preventing illegal entry of individuals and prohibited goods; as well as identifying potential threats to national security.

You will have opportunities to work in various locations across the country, including major ports of entry along our borders with Canada and Mexico. You may also be assigned to duty locations within the continental United States or on island territories such as Puerto Rico or Guam.
