As part of the modernization and digital transformation of business processes related to risk functions, the developer will contribute to the digitalization of business forms, the automation of manual processes, and the evolution of a strategic application toward a more robust, scalable, and maintainable architecture. The role involves strong participation in the migration to Microsoft Azure, as well as the optimization of DevOps and Cloud practices.
Your future duties and responsibilities
Digitize business forms and automate existing manual processes to improve operational efficiency.
Redesign the user interface (UI) and backend toward a robust and maintainable code architecture.
Enhance the application to support significant scalability (10x user growth).
Actively contribute to the migration of applications and services to Microsoft Azure.
Automate CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
Maintain and enhance cloud infrastructure (Azure, Kubernetes, Docker).
Manage releases, version upgrades, patches, and configuration changes with contingency and rollback plans.
Participate in Level 3 (L3) support, including root cause analysis and incident resolution.
Translate stakeholder needs into detailed user stories and deliver code that meets acceptance criteria and the definition of done.
Document technical designs, maintain test cases, and contribute to Software Craftsmanship and Agile (Scrum) practices.
Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role
Must already be legally authorized to work in Canada.
Must reside in the province of Quebec.
Bilingualism – Comfortable speaking both French and English.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Significant development experience with C#, .NET 8, Angular 14+, and Bootstrap 5.
Experience with data management using Entity Framework and MS SQL.
Experience working in Unix/Linux environments.
Experience with Agile methodology (Scrum).
Knowledge of containerized environments (Kubernetes, Docker).
Microsoft Azure cloud expertise (security, infrastructure, architecture, design patterns).
Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to develop, test, document, and provide L3 application support.
Assets:
ITIL Certification.
Azure Cloud Certification.

CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $60,000 to $115,000. This role is an existing vacancy.
