Job Description
We are looking for a motivated and high energy Rate Entry Assistant (4-month summer student – May-August) to be based out of Dieppe, NB. Reporting to the Senior Rate Entry Coordinator, the successful candidate will support the Pricing Administration Team with a variety of data entry tasks. Additionally, the successful student will have the opportunity to gain experience on identifying and supporting process improvement initiatives within the rate entry function.

Responsibilities
You will be responsible for a variety of tasks within the Pricing Administration Team, that will give you an opportunity to gain hands-on experience, including:
Support the Pricing Administration Coordinators during daily data entry tasks
Send out monthly price increase notifications to customers
Perform weekly fuel surcharge updates
Identify and support the team during process improvement projects
Track and report on process improvement projects within Rate Entry, culminating in a final presentation at the end of the summer term.
Qualifications
You are pursuing a post-secondary degree/diploma with a Business Administration or a related discipline
Willingness to learn and positive attitude
You have strong attention to detail with great organizational, communication and time management skills
You are a self-starter, problem solver and can work independently as well as in a team atmosphere
Proficient knowledge of MS Office
