Who You Are
We're looking for someone who's more than just technical- you bring craftsmanship, curiosity, and a genuine love of tech.
You'll stand out if you have:
3–5+ years in the custom integration or smart home industry
Strong IT/networking background (CCNA, Network+, CEDIA RNS or similar certifications a bonus)
Experience with platforms like Ubiquiti, Lutron, Crestron Home , Control4, DSC, ELK, and OvRC
Familiarity with residential construction and project timelines, especially onsite
CEDIA CIT (Cabling & Infrastructure Technician) and IST (Integrated Systems Technician) are assets
FSR-C-LO/SA, Security TQ, and Security Worker License are assets
A collaborative spirit and a commitment to delivering amazing client experiences
What You'll Do
As a Senior Installation Technician, you'll take a leading role in delivering high-performance smart home systems with precision and craftsmanship. Your responsibilities will include:
Leading the on-site installation process across all phases: pre-wire/rough-in, trim-out, and final equipment install
Installing structured wiring, device backboxes, speakers, sensors, and system infrastructure during the rough-in stage
Completing trim-out of devices including keypads, touchscreens, shades, sensors, cameras, and architectural speakers
Installing and wiring AV racks, head-end equipment, and field devices to Graytek standards
Performing on-site testing and verification of system components to prepare for programming and commissioning
Reading and interpreting construction drawings, floorplans, and wiring diagrams
Coordinating effectively with General Contractors, Electricians, and other trades to maintain installation standards and timelines
Ensuring all work is clean, organized, and aligned with our premium service reputation
Maintaining accurate daily records, updating documentation, and communicating field conditions back to the team
