Remote Bookkeeper – US Tax & Small Business Clients (Long-Term Position)
About Us:
Supreme Taxes is a Miami-based tax and bookkeeping firm serving over 800 individual and small business clients. We specialize in personal tax preparation and are expanding our year-round bookkeeping services.
We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented overseas bookkeeper to work directly with our small business clients and support our internal team.
Responsibilities:
Monthly bank & credit card reconciliations
Clean up messy books and categorize transactions correctly
Maintain accurate Chart of Accounts
Prepare Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet reports
Track 1099 contractors
Assist with payroll reconciliation (if needed)
Communicate with clients when documentation is missing
Prepare books ready for business tax return filing
Required Experience:
2+ years bookkeeping experience
Strong knowledge of QuickBooks Online
Experience with US small businesses
Understanding of:
LLCs & S-Corps
1099 contractors
Basic payroll entries
Expense categorization for tax purposes
Extremely detail-oriented
Bonus (Not Required but Preferred):
Experience working with US tax offices
Experience cleaning up prior-year books
Familiarity with Drake Tax (optional)
Contract duration of less than 1 month. with 30 hours per week.
