Operations Specialist Intern
We're seeking a detail-oriented Operations Specialist Intern to support our team with administrative coordination, client communication, and data accuracy across internal systems. In this role, you'll collaborate cross-functionally, manage client and agent inquiries, and contribute to process improvements that enhance operational efficiency. You'll gain hands-on exposure to how a high-level tour operator partners with travel agencies, while developing practical skills in project coordination and travel operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about the travel industry.
Job Responsibilities
- Creating and updating administrative records in our internal software system
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to complete projects and improve processes
- Managing direct client and agent queries in timely manner
- Updating internal databases to ensure reporting accuracy
- Acting as an extension of Kensington in client communication
- Additional ad hoc program assistance based on availability
Qualifications
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Computer and technically savvy – proficient with Microsoft Office (specifically Excel)
- Comfortable with working on both repetitive tasks and with projects that require jumping from one action item to another
- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Possesses great attention to detail and can multi-task
- Passionate and curious about the world of travel
Learning opportunities we offer include:
- Exposure to how a high-level tour operator works with their travel agency partner network
- Shadowing sessions with Operations Specialists and other department roles to familiarize yourself with Travel and Tourism industry and corporate work setting
