As a Project Coordinator supporting our Environmental Planning Business Unit—specifically the Archaeology team—you'll help keep projects, people, and operations moving seamlessly. Your work strengthens our ability to protect landscapes, support field operations, and deliver meaningful outcomes across Ontario and Atlantic Canada.

Your Impact

  • Coordinate day‑to‑day operational and administrative support for the Environmental Planning and Archaeology teams.
  • Manage the calendar, schedules, and coordination needs for the Archaeology Director to keep priorities on track.
  • Support onboarding activities for Archaeology Field Technicians, ensuring seamless integration and readiness for field deployment.
  • Assist with Health & Safety training requirements and procurement of equipment to maintain compliance and readiness.
  • Coordinate travel and logistics for field crews using WSP's corporate travel systems.
  • Track and process expense reports accurately for corporate and personal transactions.
  • Maintain equipment tracking and recharge data in internal databases.
  • Support Project Managers with purchase order requests and the setup of new opportunities and projects.
  • Prepare, proof, and format documents, presentations, and reports with a keen eye for detail.
  • Manage multiple SharePoint sites, ensuring content, access permissions, and resources remain current.
  • Coordinate topics, speakers, and materials for group calls, participate as needed, and circulate meeting notes and action items.
  • Support internal communications to ensure timely and clear information sharing across teams.
  • Provide backup support to administrative colleagues as needed and contribute to a collaborative support network.

  • A proactive, solutions‑oriented mindset—you take initiative and work well independently.
  • Post‑secondary diploma in Business Administration or a related discipline (preferred).
  • Comfortable leveraging technology and modern tools—including AI—to streamline workflows and automate routine tasks.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel formulas/pivots, PowerPoint design, Word formatting); experience with Oracle ERP is an asset.
  • Experience developing or maintaining SharePoint sites.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple deadlines.
  • Sound judgement when handling confidential information and complex situations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to foster positive working relationships.
  • Aligned with WSP's Guiding Principles and dedicated to quality, collaboration, and service.
  • Fluency in English; French considered an asset.

Compensation

AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $60,100 – $79,600
MB & ON: $54,800 – $75,400
NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $54,800 – $75,400
