As a Support Worker, you’ll not only enhance the lives of others but also have the opportunity to grow your own career through training and experience. This is a brand new supported living service in Sandwich, and we have high expectations for our staff. Rest assured, you will receive all necessary training locally before you start supporting individuals.
Shift Patterns: Flexibility is key! This is a 24-hour service, so you’ll be working a variety of shifts, including nights and weekends. We’re open to discussing flexible options like nights only, weekends only, or part-time hours.
Your Responsibilities
What You'll Do:
- Be patient, understanding, and confident in your approach.
- Use mindful language when communicating, ensuring honesty and consistency.
- Support individuals in living fulfilling lives.
- Collaborate with specialists in multi-disciplinary teams, including Occupational Therapists and Social Workers.
While your primary focus will be on one individual, you may occasionally support others in need. Don’t worry—you’ll receive the training necessary to provide effective support to everyone in our care.
This flexible approach fosters a collaborative, team-focused, and person-centered environment, ensuring everyone receives the care they deserve.
