Customs and Border Protection Officer Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated Customs and Border Protection Officer to join our team. As a Customs and Border Protection Officer, you will play a critical role in protecting the American people by safeguarding our borders, deterring illicit activity, and enhancing the nation's economic prosperity.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Enforce customs, immigration, and agriculture laws and regulations.
  • Facilitate the flow of legitimate trade and travel.
  • Conduct inspections of individuals and conveyances.
  • Determine the admissibility of individuals for entry into the United States.
  • Prevent illegal entry of individuals or prohibited goods.
A typical assignment may include working at U.S. ports-of-entry such as airports, seaports or land border crossings. In addition to enforcing laws related to duty-free exemptions on items brought in from abroad, conducting inspections of people entering America who might be trying something we don't want them doing with their luggage/vehicle etc.. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both written & verbal ability strong analytical thinking combined physical stamina required perform duties effectively maintaining situational awareness under pressure environment constantly adapting responding emerging situations dynamically ensuring smooth operation overall process streamlining procedural updates training colleagues following relevant guidance/team input directed strategy reflection professional growth area...but also able operate machinery operate tactical equipment accessing securing dangerous zones behind enemies putting own life danger subordinating personal needs country's security..Would You like learn more about This position let us know if interested would appreciate hearing your thoughts thanks advance.
