Border Protection Specialist

The Border Patrol Agent is responsible for safeguarding the American people by protecting our borders, preventing illegal activity and enhancing the nation's economic prosperity.

• Detect and question individuals suspected of violating immigration laws, document inspection to determine citizenship or violations, and inspect documents to determine legitimacy. Detect and intercept undocumented non-citizens, contraband smugglers at or near the border by maintaining surveillance from covert positions.
