**Job Overview**: Secure our nation's borders and enforce immigration laws as a highly trained Border Patrol Agent.
In this critical role, you will be part of an elite team working to protect America by safeguarding its borders, deterring illicit activity, and enhancing the nation's economic prosperity.
Your responsibilities may include detecting and questioning individuals suspected of violating immigration laws, preventing unauthorized entry into the country, conducting surveillance from covert positions using various assets such as infrared scopes during night operations, interpreting physical evidence left behind by undocumented noncitizens or smugglers of noncitizens at or near the border
Key Responsibilities:
- Detecting Violations: Question people suspected of violating immigration laws
- Surveillance Operations: Maintain surveillance from covert positions during nighttime operations using Infrared Scopes
- Interpreting Physical Evidence: Analyze tracks marks other physical signs indicating illegal entries made in US territory
