The position of Border Patrol Agent (BPA) involves conducting surveillance from covert positions, using infrared scopes during night operations, detecting and questioning individuals suspected of violating immigration laws,Detecting Smuggling Activity , inspecting documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations.
The BPA must be able to analyze information rapidly make sound judgments regarding Laws Enforcement matters including making arrests after completing required training
Duties may include but are not limited other tasks such as:

• Maintaining contact with network of informants.


• Providing assistance with missing persons cases.
