Border Security Specialist

A Customs and Border Protection Officer is a vital member of the Federal Law Enforcement community, tasked with safeguarding America's borders and ensuring economic prosperity.

• Duties include enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture laws; facilitating trade and travel; conducting inspections of individuals and conveyances; determining admissibility for entry into the United States; preventing smuggling and illegal entry.

To be eligible for this position, candidates must have had primary U.S. residency for at least three years. Age restriction applies due to law enforcement retirement provisions. Veterans' Preference may also qualify candidates who meet specific requirements.
