Border Patrol Agents play a crucial role in safeguarding the nation's borders and enforcing immigration laws. To excel in this position, applicants must possess strong analytical skills, be able to work effectively in high-pressure environments, and demonstrate exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.

This is an entry-level career law enforcement officer opportunity with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP). As a Border Patrol Agent, you will be responsible for detecting and questioning individuals suspected of violating immigration laws, inspecting documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations, preventing and apprehending undocumented noncitizens and smugglers of noncitizens at or near the borders by maintaining surveillance from covert positions.

• Detects suspicious activity related to potential smuggling attempts through tracking marks on roads used by border violators;
