Frontline Protective Service Professional

You will be part of a highly trained team that strives to protect the American people by safeguarding our borders, deterring illicit activity, and enhancing the nation's economic prosperity. This role requires specialized skills in enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture laws and regulations.

As a Customs and Border Protection Officer (CBPO), you will facilitate trade while ensuring public safety through inspections of individuals and conveyances. You will also conduct interviews for gaining information from suspected violators of laws. Rapid judgment-making is critical in this position as it involves enforcement of various laws relating to importing/exporting merchandise or entering/ departing from U.S territories.

To qualify for this GS-9 grade level position, candidates must have one year of relevant experience or meet specific education requirements including master’s degree or higher.
