Border Security Specialist

As a Customs and Border Protection Officer, you will be part of our team dedicated to protecting American interests and securing the nation. Your primary responsibility will be to safeguard the borders by deterring illicit activity and enhancing economic prosperity.

Our officers work in diverse locations across the United States, including major ports of entry, airports, seaports, and land border crossings. You will play a vital role in enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture laws while facilitating legitimate trade and travel.

• Detaining Suspected Violators : Enforce federal laws relating to importing/exporting merchandise; detain suspected violators using proper law enforcement methods;

1. A minimum one-year specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level that includes: Detaining suspected violators of federal/state/local laws/arresting violators using proper law enforcement methods;
   Enforcing customs/immigration/agriculture regulations;
   Utilizing intelligence techniques/behavior analysis for potential threats/risk assessments;
