Border Security Specialist

A Border Security Specialist plays a pivotal role in safeguarding America's borders while facilitating legitimate trade and travel.

  • Enforce customs, immigration, and agriculture laws and regulations to ensure national security.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of individuals and conveyances to prevent suspicious activities.
The duties include enforcing all U.S. Customs Regulations as well as the provisions of Immigration law.

The work is performed in an environment that includes exposure to inclement weather conditions. There will also be exposure to some physical risk from accidents or injuries on the job site.

Apart from safety measures there are policies in place for fraud prevention which include blocking suspicious transactions among other things
