Border Patrol Agent Job Description

We are seeking highly motivated and dedicated individuals to join our team as Border Patrol Agents. As a BPA, you will be part of our elite force responsible for safeguarding the American people by detecting and preventing illicit activity at or near the borders.


Job Responsibilities:

A typical day in this role would involve:
  • Detecting and questioning people suspected of violating immigration laws

  • Pursuing undocumented noncitizens and smugglers of noncitizens at or near the borders

  • Interpreting tracks, marks, and other physical evidence to determine illegal entry points

  • Maintaining surveillance from covert positions using infrared scopes during night operations
