About Our Border Patrol Role
As a Border Patrol Agent, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our nation's borders.
Main Responsibilities:
- Detecting and questioning individuals suspected of violating immigration laws to prevent unauthorized entry into the country.
- Inspect documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations in a fair and impartial manner.
- Preventing illegal entry of persons or contraband at or near borders by utilizing knowledge of laws, regulations, and procedures related to border security.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate must possess excellent communication skills with ability to effectively interact with various stakeholders including law enforcement personnel.
The selected candidate should also have strong observational skills along with analytical thinking capabilities. Experience working under pressure while maintaining composure during high-stress situations is essential.
