Overview:
The U.S. Border Patrol offers an opportunity to work with a team of highly trained professionals dedicated to protecting America.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Detecting and questioning individuals suspected of violating immigration laws, inspecting documents, and possessions.
- Preventing and apprehending undocumented noncitizens, smugglers, by maintaining surveillance from covert positions using infrared scopes during night operations.
- Interpreting tracks, marks, physical evidence of illegal entry or contraband.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Citizenship Requirement : Must be a U.S. citizen to apply for this position. ): In accordance with Public Law 100-238,, candidates must have primary U.S. residency (includes protectorates as declared under international law) for at least three of the last five years.
Judgmental decision-making skills & sound ethical judgement required;
