Customs and Border Protection Officer Job Description

• Analyze information from various sources to make informed decisions regarding the admissibility of people, vehicles, cargo, and conveyances into the United States.

• Carry out inspections at ports of entry to detect contraband goods such as narcotics, weapons, currency smuggling etc.. 

• Traffic enforcement duties may include conducting vehicle stops or searching containers for illicit materials. 

• Serve warrants issued by courts, Arrest suspects, Seize property etc...
