Are you a skilled Forklift Operator seeking a new opportunity in Jacksonville, Florida? We are hiring for a Forklift Operator position at our busy distribution center. Your primary responsibility will be to operate forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. This role is vital for maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring the timely processing of orders. You will be involved in loading and unloading materials from trucks and trailers, as well as transporting goods within the warehouse. A strong emphasis is placed on adherence to safety protocols and the correct usage of all required PPE . You must be able to perform pre-operation checks on your forklift and report any mechanical issues promptly. Experience with RF scanners and warehouse management systems is a plus. This position requires individuals who are detail-oriented, reliable, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment. The job involves significant physical activity, including regular lifting and maneuvering of equipment. Understanding the intricacies of logistics and warehouse operations is essential. This is a full-time role with consistent hours, contributing to the efficiency of our overall distribution network. Prior experience in a similar warehouse setting is highly preferred.
