We are seeking enthusiastic Order Pickers for our St. Louis, Missouri facility. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately locating and gathering products to fulfill customer orders. This is a critical role in our logistics operations, directly impacting customer satisfaction. You will work closely with inventory management systems and contribute to the efficient operation of our warehouse.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret pick lists or use scanning equipment to locate items for orders.
- Accurately retrieve products from shelves and designated storage areas.
- Package items securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Transport picked items to the packing or shipping station.
- Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy by reporting discrepancies.
- Follow all safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
- Contribute to a clean and organized work environment.
- Understand and implement best practices in logistics for order fulfillment.
- Perform other related tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is advantageous.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks and lift up to 35 lbs.
- Basic reading and math skills.
- Good hand-eye coordination.
- Adherence to safety protocols.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
