Join our busy warehouse in Orlando, Florida, as a Material Handler! This role is fundamental to the smooth operation of our logistics center, ensuring that materials are moved, organized, and prepared for their next destination. You will be involved in various aspects of material management, including receiving, stocking, order picking, and preparing items for shipment. A strong focus on safety is paramount, and all team members are required to strictly adhere to safety protocols and use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times. This position requires physical capability, including regular lifting of items up to 50 lbs, bending, and standing for extended periods. Experience with pallet jacks, hand trucks, and basic warehouse equipment is beneficial. While prior experience in logistics is a plus, we are willing to train motivated individuals who demonstrate a strong work ethic and a commitment to learning. You will work closely with a team of dedicated professionals to achieve daily operational goals. Responsibilities:
- Receive, identify, and store incoming materials.
- Move materials throughout the warehouse using appropriate equipment.
- Pick items for orders accurately and efficiently.
- Pack orders securely for shipment.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and wear appropriate PPE.
- Operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Load and unload trucks as required.
- Report any damages or discrepancies to supervisors.
- Collaborate with team members to meet operational deadlines.
- Contribute to a safe and efficient logistics environment.
- Follow all company policies and procedures related to material handling.
