We have an exciting opportunity for a Distribution Center Associate in Baltimore, Maryland! This role is central to our company's success, involving the efficient management of inventory and order fulfillment within our state-of-the-art facility. As a Distribution Center Associate, you will perform a variety of tasks including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping goods. Your attention to detail and commitment to accuracy are vital for maintaining seamless logistics operations. We place a high emphasis on Safety, requiring all associates to strictly follow established protocols and wear appropriate PPE. This position is physically demanding and requires individuals who are motivated, reliable, and eager to contribute to a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Stock merchandise in designated warehouse locations efficiently.
- Pick orders accurately using RF scanners or pick sheets.
- Pack products securely and appropriately for shipment.
- Stage outgoing orders for carrier pickup.
- Operate various warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.
- Conduct inventory cycle counts and assist in inventory management.
- Strictly adhere to all Safety guidelines and use required PPE.
- Support overall logistics and warehouse operational goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center role is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent standing, walking, bending, and significant Lifting (up to 60 lbs).
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in order processing.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
