Join our growing team in Tampa, Florida as a Material Handler! This role is essential for supporting our warehouse operations and ensuring the efficient movement of materials. You will be responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing materials, tools, and equipment. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to workplace safety, including the proper use of PPE. You will operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment, assist with inventory counts, and maintain an organized work area. Experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is preferred. We value safety above all else and provide comprehensive training on safe lifting techniques and the use of all equipment. Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials.
- Transport materials within the warehouse using hand trucks, pallet jacks, etc.
- Assist with inventory control and cycle counting.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and the proper use of PPE.
- Prepare materials for shipment.
- Follow all established lifting procedures.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role.
- Ability to operate pallet jacks and other basic warehouse equipment.
- Capability of lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Commitment to safety and the use of PPE.
