Join our dedicated warehouse team in Houston, Texas, as a Warehouse Worker! This is a hands-on role essential for the day-to-day operations of our facility. You'll be involved in a variety of tasks, including receiving and inspecting incoming goods, stocking shelves, picking and packing orders, and preparing shipments. Your efficiency, attention to detail, and commitment to safety will be key to your success. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, hardworking, and eager to contribute to our logistics goals. Safety is paramount, and you must adhere to all company safety guidelines, including the proper use of PPE.Responsibilities:
- Receiving and inspecting incoming inventory for accuracy and damage.
- Stocking shelves and organizing inventory within the warehouse.
- Picking items accurately for customer orders.
- Packing orders securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Preparing outgoing shipments and staging them for pickup.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Operating pallet jacks and other basic material handling equipment.
- Adhering to all company safety policies and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Performing inventory cycle counts and assisting with stock rotation.
- Identifying and reporting any operational issues or safety hazards.
- Assisting with loading and unloading trucks as needed.
- Practicing safe lifting techniques when handling products of various sizes and weights.
- Contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our logistics operations.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience is a plus.
- Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform lifting tasks (up to 50 lbs) throughout the shift.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Awareness of safety protocols and the importance of wearing required PPE.
- Basic understanding of inventory flow and logistics processes.
