Become a key player in our fulfillment operations as a Fulfillment Associate in Washington, D.C. This role is essential for ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. You'll be involved in various aspects of the warehouse, from receiving and stocking to picking, packing, and shipping. A proactive approach to tasks and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment are crucial. You'll work with a dedicated team to manage the flow of goods and contribute to the overall efficiency of our logistics. We emphasize safety, and adherence to all guidelines, including the correct use of PPE, is mandatory.Responsibilities:
- Accurately picking and packing customer orders.
- Receiving and stocking incoming inventory.
- Processing shipments and preparing orders for dispatch.
- Performing cycle counts and assisting with inventory management.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization within the warehouse.
- Operating warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Adhering to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Identifying and reporting any operational issues or safety hazards.
- Collaborating with team members to achieve daily targets.
- Contributing to the smooth and efficient running of the logistics department.
- Utilizing safe lifting techniques when handling products.
- Ensuring all tasks are completed with accuracy and attention to detail.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or fulfillment experience is preferred.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform lifting tasks (up to 50 lbs) throughout the shift.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and the importance of PPE.
- Basic computer skills for using warehouse management systems.
- A commitment to contributing positively to the logistics team.
