This position requires a strong commitment to Safety, and we provide comprehensive training and all necessary personal protective equipment (PPE). Daily tasks involve operating material handling equipment, loading and unloading trucks, and maintaining an organized stockroom. The role requires physical stamina, including frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting objects up to 50 lbs. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely.
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Organize and store inventory in appropriate locations.
- Perform regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, adhering to Safety standards.
- Assist with inventory counts and discrepancy resolution.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including wearing required PPE.
- Support the logistics team in daily operations.
- Accurately document material movement.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar role is required.
- Valid forklift certification is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy Lifting, up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Strong understanding of warehouse Safety procedures.
- Familiarity with Logistics and inventory management systems.
- Excellent physical stamina and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
