Seeking a detail-oriented Order Picker to join our team in Los Angeles, California! As an Order Picker, you will be instrumental in accurately gathering items for customer orders within our busy warehouse. Your primary function will be to efficiently locate and retrieve products based on order specifications, ensuring the right items are sent to the right customers. This role is fundamental to our logistics and supply chain operations. You'll work in a dynamic environment that demands speed, accuracy, and a commitment to safety. We provide comprehensive training and all necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensure your well-being. The role involves significant physical activity, including walking extensively throughout the warehouse, bending, reaching, and lifting items that can weigh up to 50 lbs. Experience with order picking systems and a focus on Safety are highly valued. Responsibilities:
- Read pick lists or use a scanner to locate and retrieve items from warehouse shelves.
- Verify product information against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Transport picked items to the packing or staging area.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment as needed.
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
- Report any discrepancies or damages to a supervisor immediately.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts.
- Contribute to team goals for order fulfillment efficiency.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is advantageous.
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
- Must be able to perform frequent bending, stooping, and Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Basic understanding of warehouse Safety practices.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Familiarity with Logistics operations is a plus.
