We are looking for a dedicated Distribution Center Associate to join our facility in Baltimore, Maryland. This role is fundamental to the efficient operation of our Logistics network, involving a wide range of warehouse tasks. You will be responsible for receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment. A strong commitment to Safety, accuracy, and teamwork is essential for success in this dynamic position. We strive to create a productive and secure environment where every team member can thrive.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and process incoming inventory, verifying against documentation.
- Accurately stock merchandise in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick customer orders using RF scanners and other warehouse technology.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently for shipment, ensuring product integrity.
- Prepare outgoing shipments for carriers, including labeling and staging.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the distribution center.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and effectively.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and participate in cycle counts.
- Follow all company Safety guidelines and procedures meticulously.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is preferred.
- Ability to perform tasks involving physical exertion, including consistent Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Must be willing to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Basic knowledge of warehouse management systems is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety practices is crucial.
