As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving materials, loading and unloading trucks, and assisting with inventory management. This role is critical to the smooth operation of our warehouse, ensuring that goods are transported correctly and timely. You will operate various types of forklifts and material handling equipment, requiring precision and a strong adherence to **Safety** guidelines. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload materials and products from trucks and trailers.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Assist with receiving and put-away of incoming goods.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on forklifts.
- Maintain accurate records of material movement.
- Adhere to all **Safety** regulations and company policies.
- Wear appropriate **PPE** at all times.
- Participate in **Logistics** planning and inventory control.
- Handle **Lifting** requirements as necessary when operating equipment.
- Identify and report any damaged goods or equipment malfunctions.
Qualifications:
- Valid Forklift Operator certification.
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or **Logistics** environment.
- Knowledge of warehouse **Safety** procedures and protocols.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring **Lifting** and physical stamina.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Ability to work flexible hours and overtime when needed.
- Must be able to wear required **PPE**.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with a team.
