We are seeking a diligent and motivated Order Picker to join our dynamic logistics team in San Francisco, California. As an Order Picker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that customer orders are accurately and efficiently fulfilled. Your primary responsibility will be to locate, retrieve, and prepare items for shipment. This role requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment. You will be working with a variety of products, so adaptability and a keen eye for detail are essential. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in warehouse operations or a similar role. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanners or pick sheets.
- Locate and retrieve products from warehouse shelves and storage areas.
- Verify item numbers and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Package items securely for shipment, adhering to company standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Participate in inventory counts and stock checks as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily order fulfillment goals.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned, such as receiving or stocking.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in order picking or warehouse operations preferred.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring physical exertion, including frequent walking, standing, bending, and **Lifting** up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic understanding of **Logistics** and warehouse procedures.
- Commitment to maintaining a **Safety**-conscious work environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual.
